From the Huggy Bean Collection, Oni Bean, Huggy Bean's, the first Doll by an African American toy company, ever mass-produced, that came with a variety of books and toys and carried its own storyline connected to African American heritage, best friend. The Collection was manufactured by Golden Ribbon Playthings Inc. in 1985. His vinyl head is marked Golden Ribbon Plaything 1984, with yarn hair and painted features. His cloth body is attached to vinyl arms and legs. All original, he is 17 inches tall. Oni Bean was used in Yvonne's Ellis' book, Collectible African American Dolls, published by Collector Books in 2008, see all photos!The patch on his jumpsuit is missing, and no longer have his red hat faultless for everyday use. supreme materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
