Vintage Fine China of Japan Elington 1/4 lb. Covered Butter Dish 1970's RARE. Approximate measurements are:
Dish- 1/2" Tall x 8" Long x 4 1/4" Wide
Lid- 2" Tall x 6" Long x 2 1/2" Wide
Bottom says: Fine Porcelain China, Elington, Japan. Elington was produced Circa 1960's-1980's- it is now discontinued & super hard to find in Pristine Vintage Condition. STUNNING & Timeless piece, white all over featuring blue flowers, gray & green leaves with tan accents & silver (platinum) trim. charming addition to any kitchen, dining room or butter dish Collection. It is tough & elegant. It is a perfect size- 1/4 lb. (single stick) for serving butter or other small items. Condition is preowned with no chips, cracks or crazing. This was acquired at an Estate Sale & was displayed only. VERY minimal amt of scuffs, I don't see any loss on floral graphics & very little wear or loss to silver trim.
